Alex has 15 years of global experience providing strategic reputation and crisis management advice to major public companies, private corporations, high profile institutions and individuals. He founded New Century’s well regarded litigation support and white collar practice in 2011.
Alex has advised on crises and legal disputes in a range of sectors and industries, including banking, financial and professional services, asset management, energy, natural resources, TMT, and sports business. From 2011 to 2013, He advised BP on the reputation management strategy in relation to its investment in TNK-BP and the subsequent sale of this stake to Rosneft as part of a US$55bn acquisition of TNK-BP by the Russian state oil company, in what was one of the biggest and most complex oil and gas transactions in history.
Alex has advised on over 50 legal disputes across the UK and Europe, with an overall quantum exceeding US$40bn, and has led the reputation management strategy on some of the highest profile white collar defences in the UK.
Alex joined New Century in the summer of 2009 from a private equity and capital markets consultancy in the City of London. He is a graduate of University College London and speaks fluent Russian.
