James Lynch

James is a highly experienced litigation PR expert with a strong network of contacts across the legal press. He is quick to spot the optimum story arc for pitching client narratives to journalists, working with both to resolve competing priorities to secure the client’s desired result.

James deals with some of Maltin’s most high-profile and multijurisdictional cases. This includes a litigation media campaign on behalf of a central bank to assist with the return of more than thirty tonnes of gold from another central bank, a dispute between a high-net-worth individual and a number of state parties, and advising on international regulatory investigations.

His experience includes advising clients on effectively communicating clear and impactful messaging throughout complex disputes, as well as managing international press liaison in multiple jurisdictions. His skills include rapidly analysing complex court documents in crisis situations to construct a robust and compelling narrative, quickly providing a media strategy, and working closely with court reporters ahead of and during major developments to advance clients’ positions.
