Alex Hudson

Alex Hudson has a practice focused on commercial and regulatory litigation, transportation law, and access to information and privacy matters. He regularly advises clients faced with a variety of complex business disputes and regulatory issues and has assisted clients in a wide range of industries, including forestry, energy, mining, real estate, technology, and financial services.

As a member of DLA Piper’s Chambers Band 1 rail transportation practice, Alex helps clients in rail-served industries resolve disputes with railway companies. He has significant experience using remedies like final offer arbitration and level of service arbitration to help shippers achieve better rail rates and service.

Alex has represented clients at all levels of the British Columbia and Federal courts, in arbitration proceedings, and before administrative tribunals such as the Canadian Transportation Agency.
