Career
Alessandro graduated in Law from the University of Perugia in 2011 with a dissertation in industrial property law, shortly thereafter attending a specialist post graduate IP course. In 2012 he joined the IP department of a well-known international law firm. Since 2013 he has worked forcollaborates with LGV developing a considerable experience in relation to commercial and corporate law, with a special focus on every aspect of IP. In particular, he has managed trademark and design portfolios of several multinational corporations, dealing also with their filing and prosecution (including opposition procedures) before the competent patent and trademark offices. Alessandro has also dealt with the protection of distinctive signs on the Internet and has taken part in administrative proceedings for the reassignment of domain names before the Dispute Resolution Providers (PRSD) as well as other proceedings governed by the Dispute Regulation of the Italian Registry Operator (namely NIC.it). Alessandro collaborates with the German department in the resolution of international disputes. He is also experienced in both judicial and extra-judicial matters in the field of patents, utility models, know-how and in unfair competition. Alessandro also provides assistance in relation to copyright and privacy issues, and in particular judicial and extra-judicial consultancy for software houses. Since 2017 he teaches IP at the University of Ferrara.
