The LGV intellectual property department has exceptional experience in all IP matters and an international breadth including Italian and foreign professionals, all of whom are at least proficient in English and their respective languages.
The Patent department deals with patents and know how in every sector of technology, ranging from mechanics (f.e. textile, production implants, automotive, ecc) to modern technologies (microchips, optical supports, electronics). The Patent department has also worked on cases involving pharmaceutical and medical products, food and nutrition, chemistry, biotech, and biomaterials.
The Copyright, IT and TMT department, one of the fields in which LGV has excelled for the longest time, represents rights owners and users of creative works of any type, from the most traditional (lyrics and photographs as well as literary, musical, and visual works) to the most innovative (AI, software, television, videogames, websites, online portals). Specifically, copyright as applied to new technologies constitutes one of the core practices at LGV, both for out-of-court advice and litigation.
The Trademark & Design department acts for the protection of highly prestigious trademarks and distinctive signs as well designs in the most diverse sectors of industry, commerce and services. In these fields the IP department counts among its clients some important multinational Corp., from the fashion and sport apparel to the automotive and insurance sectors.
