Alan Gibson

Alan’s practice is diverse and includes clients operating in the rural and agricultural sector in particular with development and diversification interests. Alan is also a leader in the natural capital space and renewable energy sector.

With a background in rural conveyancing (now predominantly rural development), Alan acts for landowners and developers on all aspects of commercial and rural property transactions, including in particular development of clean energy projects, acquisition and disposal of development sites and properties; acquisition and disposal of farms and estate land and salmon fishings; general security work, and advising on agricultural tenancies and other rural matters (with a particular focus on development). He also advises on general real estate matters, e.g. servitudes and title conditions.
