Adolfo has more than 25 years of experience advising Spanish taxation issues on domestic and international transactions and he is currently tax parter at EY Abogados in Spain. Before rejoining EY Abogados (where he was partner in charge of the tax and legal department for the financial sector from 2010 to 2017), he has been the partner in charge of the Spanish tax department at Allen & Overy. Before that he was counsel at Freshfields and also worked for Garrigues as tax lawyer. He has an extensive experience advising domestic and cross-border finance transactions carried out in Spain, has given tax advice on mergers and acquisitions, group restructurings and acquisition tax structures. Furthermore, Adolfo has advised numerous entities in asset finance and structured operations processes where he is considered as expert lead. He has also specialized in international tax structuring and has experience in financial products.
