Adam Gordon is a partner in Nixon Peabody’s Project Finance and Public Finance group whose practice focuses on infrastructure, economic development, and project finance. He serves as bond counsel, disclosure counsel, underwriters’ counsel, and bank counsel on tax-exempt and taxable bond issuances, with experience across private activity, nonprofit, housing, transportation, pooled lending, waste management, and public power financings, and he has published on public finance topics.

Adam has significant experience representing New York State industrial development agencies and local development corporations, including the New York City Economic Development Corporation, drafting and negotiating transaction documents for tax benefit transactions and conduit financings. A substantial portion of his practice is devoted to transportation finance, including serving as bond counsel to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority and the Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority, as well as bond counsel to the New York City Municipal Water Finance Authority; he also represents financial institutions on credit and liquidity facilities and direct purchases of privately placed debt, and advises clients on evolving disclosure practices and market developments such as the LIBOR transition.
