Achim Dannecker

Achim Dannecker advises companies and entrepreneurs on tax law. He is one of the leading advisors in Germany in the area of business succession and private assets. Among others, he advises on restructurings, transactions, in international tax law as well as in tax audits and contentious proceedings.

Achim Dannecker studied philosophy and law in Munich and Constance. Achim Dannecker was a government councillor in the tax administration and worked for an international law firm in London. He has been an attorney since 1998 and a partner at Gleiss Lutz since 2003. He is an honorary professor at the University of Heidelberg and a member of numerous committees and organizations, including the Fachinstitut der Steuerberater (Düsseldorf), and deputy chairman of the Bundesfachkommission Steuern des Wirtschaftsrats.
