Abi has significant experience working seamlessly with a range of clients - including financial institutions, financial investors, corporations, and state-owned enterprise clients - on their cross-border M&A and corporate transactions across a number of sectors in Indonesia.
His key sector coverage includes financial services (including insurance), industrials (such as electric vehicles), TMT (including ecommerce, information technology and fintech) and transportation (such as logistics and terminals).
Abi also regularly works with key industry players in regulated sectors on a broad range of Indonesia-related regulatory issues, including financial soundness, capital management, governance, and government inquiries, among other things.
He regularly provides training on Indonesian legal matters to clients and industry stakeholders (eg Indonesia’s life insurance association) on various matters.
In the non-profit sector, Abi recently served as Vice Chair on the Permanent Law Committee on Financial Services and Blockchain at the Indonesia Chambers of Commerce (KADIN).
