Aaron’s practice primarily focuses on private equity and fund formation. Aaron has experience representing global private fund sponsors in connection with their primary fundraises, secondary transfer processes and co-investment mandates, as well as related carried interest arrangements. Aaron has assisted clients in the formation of private equity funds, special situations funds, funds of funds, secondaries funds, and credit funds ranging in size from less than US$100 million to over US$7 billion in total capital raised.

Aaron also has extensive experience in the secondaries space, representing fund sponsors and institutional clients on liquidity transactions, including portfolio sales and acquisitions, and representing fund sponsors with respect to GP-led fund restructurings. Aaron has also advised on a broad range of LP investment transactions, including primary investments, investments in continuation vehicles and co-investments.

Before joining Torys, Aaron was a private funds associate at global U.S. law firms in New York and London, where he focused on primary fundraises, secondary transfer processes and co-investment mandates for U.S., U.K. and EU-based investment sponsors.
