Career

Ron advises various businesses in different industries as well as government and state-owned entities on Competition-related matters, including State aid and public procurement.

Ron's experience in the field of public procurement includes advice to local government entities and other contracting entities locally as well as internationally.

Ron has ample experience in the Energy sector, having advised on a number of major projects, including the procurement of the only HVAC interconnector cable connecting Malta to the European grid through Sicily, and the development of Malta’s first privately-owned and gas-fired power plant and the related LNG and Gas facilities.

Ron has been involved in IT procurement projects on behalf of the Government of Malta, including the procurement of the Integrated Health Information System, the National Identity Management System and the Integrated Utilities Billing System.

In employment law, Ron provides regular advice to local medium-sized and large companies as well as to international entities having a presence in Malta.

In the aviation sector, Ron provides on-going advice to Malta's only international airport, and the Maltese national airline.
