Managing Partner: Barry Tucker

Barry founded the firm in 1980 with the aim of providing clients with 24 hour access to high quality legal advice and representation in criminal law and civil litigationmatters.

Barry insists that the firm puts the quality of assistance paramount to the financial constraints of the legal aid system. In respect of private work, his ethos is to provide best advice and results via value for fees paid rather than concentrating a client’s mind on minutes billed.

Claire has been working in criminal defence for 25 years and has been working for Tuckers Solicitors for 20 of those years. She has a passion for defending vulnerable clients and is always keen to ensure the best possible result for every client she represents.

James Turner

James qualified as a Solicitor in 1997 and has specialised in criminal defence ever since. He joined Tuckers in 2000 to open the Birmingham branch office. His practice focuses on the most serious types of offences including serious violent and sexual offending, fraud, organised crime and regulatory matters.

Richard Atkinson

Richard Atkinson qualified in 1990. He specialises in preparing and supervising our serious and complex cases and has acted in many serious and high profile cases including the biggest cash robbery ever in the UK.
