Felhaber's labor and employment practice focuses solely on management-side labor and employment law and represents employers in all areas of management-side employment law including traditional labor negotiations, NLRB proceedings, discrimination cases before local, state, and federal EEO agencies, wage and hour issues (both before the DOL, state agencies, wage and collective actions, and general advice), policy review, investigations and compliance audits, restrictive covenants (non-compete, non-solicitations and non-disclosure agreements), and day-to-day advice.

The department is best known for providing insightful and wise legal advice in all aspects of real estate, with a particular emphasis on: (1) assembly, development, and construction of large scale, multiple-use developments; (2) formation, management, and governance of multi-family residential communities; and (3) real estate litigation involving real estate acquisitions, construction, land use, eminent domain, property tax, special assessments, and land use.

The leaders in the department have decades of experience in every aspect of real estate transactions and litigation. The entire department seeks to deliver legal services and representation at a level of sophistication and expertise found at large firms with the personal attention and responsiveness of a small firm. Many of our firm’s real estate attorneys have been designated as Certified Real Property Law Specialists by the Minnesota State Bar Association (MSBA), Fellows of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, Super Lawyers, Rising Stars, and Best Lawyers in America.
