• Litigation & Trial:
Litigation is a core strength of the firm and its deepest practice. Main Areas of Practice:

Antitrust:
One of the premiere practices in the US, the group handles all phases of antitrust law: high-visibility mergers, criminal cartel investigations, high-stakes antitrust litigation, and affirmative recoveries of hundreds of millions of dollars. Recent work includes representing AT&T as it buys Time Warner Inc. for a reported $85.4 billion.

Energy:
This group has extensive capabilities and experience, particularly with respect to federal and state electric and gas regulation, infrastructure project development, financing and acquisition transactions, litigation, compliance and enforcement matters.

Environmental & Natural Resources:
With more than three decades of experience, the group has a strong reputation across the US with corporations, trade associations, and others due to its success in shaping regulatory policies and litigating disputes for clients in mining, oil/ gas, agriculture, alternative energy, defence and related sectors, such as water/ air quality, public land use, endangered species, site cleanup, pesticides, health and safety, and consumer products regulation.
