Charbel Maakaron is the managing partner of the Squire Patton Boggs Doha office. He specializes in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory matters. Charbel draws from his commercial and business law experience to advise clients on commercial transactions, corporate structuring, finance and securities, commercial litigation and capital markets.
With over a decade's experience of working in Qatar, Charbel is regarded as a specialist on Qatari laws and serves as a subject matter expert on Qatari legal issues.
In addition, Charbel advises government clients on legislative projects and has contributed towards the development of laws and regulations in Qatar and the GCC.
Prior to joining Squire Patton Boggs, Charbel worked for four years in one of Beirut’s top law firms, where he handled complex litigation matters in civil and commercial law and gained considerable experience in corporate and business matters.
