Capital Trustees AG is a licensed professional, independent Swiss Trustee Company, founded in 2005 with offices in Zurich and Lugano.

The Company is specialized in the establishment and administration of trusts. It also provides assistance in wealth structuring through personalized Swiss solutions, aimed at addressing, in particular, the specific needs of international families with global interests.

The Company obtained the license from the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) in early 2022, thus becoming the first authorized among the members of the Swiss Association of Trust Companies (SATC).

Capital Trustees is privately owned and fully independent. The Company is not a member of any family office, law firm or banking and financial group. It focuses exclusively on trust-related activities and does not provide any kind of asset management or legal advice. This enables to work freely with the best professionals and advisors for the benefit of the client.

Capital Trustees team is composed entirely of qualified professionals with a longstanding experience in providing assistance with multi-jurisdictional complex cases involving international clients from all over the world.

All the core trust activities are managed in-house, through the Company’s legal, accounting, IT and compliance departments. In particular, the Company can advise on trusts governed by all major trust laws thanks to its team of trust lawyers, who can provide technical assistance during the whole life of the trust.

When dealing with specific domestic matters such as tax and legal issues in relation to international clients, Capital Trustees relies on its network of local specialized advisors as well as, if preferred, on the client’s trusted advisors.

The team has broad expertise in managing trust funds with all possible asset classes, e.g., bankable assets, art & collectibles, participations in operating companies, real estate. From a geographical standpoint, Capital Trustees provides its services to clients and families from Europe, LATAM, Middle East and East Asia.
