Alan Campos Elias Thomaz has more than a decade working in a first-tier Big Law, in 2020, Alan left the firm and founded Campos Thomaz Advogados. Alan has an extensive professional track record assisting big techs and a solid national and international academic career in Law & Technology. He provides assertive and business-oriented legal advice, particularly in transactional and regulatory matters. In recent years, Alan took part in Brazil's most significant legislative developments regarding the Internet, privacy, and data protection. Alan holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Mackenzie Presbyterian University, a Post-Graduation Diploma (PGDip) in Intellectual Property and New Technologies from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), a Master's degree (LLM) in Business Law with a focus on technology and data protection from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), an LLM in Law & Technology from Tilburg University, with an emphasis in European legislation, and was admitted to course the LLM in Law, Science, and Technology at Stanford Law School. Due to his intense work in technology regulation, artificial intelligence, privacy, and data protection issues, Alan was invited by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) to coordinate the creation of the Brazilian Data Protection Officer (CDPO/BR) certification.
Filipe Starzynski leads the Litigation & Law Enforcement, Civil, Real Estate, Labor and Family. Filipe has more than 12 years of experience working in strategic, litigation and advisory legal matters in the areas of Civil, Consumer, Business, Real Estate, Labor Law, Family Law and Succession. He advises companies in the technology, financial market, health, civil construction, Family Offices and others, and individual clients. Filipe is an expert in the management of large portfolios of lawsuits, with representation in Superior Courts, administrative authorities, and public agencies. He also provides legal advice to clients in the prevention of litigation, conciliation and risk mitigation.
Juliana Sene Ikeda with more than 15 years of experience in Intellectual Property, Technology, Contracts, and Life Sciences, she is the author of dozens of articles in these areas, in addition to having contributed to several publications about Digital Law, Data Privacy, Media, and Entertainment. JuIiana completed her master's degree in Intellectual Property at the Turin University, together with the World Intellectual Property Organization in 2013, in addition to having attended the London School of Economics (LSE) and the Berkeley University, in the United States. In 2022 Juliana was recognized by Análise Advocacia and Análise Advocacia Mulher as one of the most admired Brazilian lawyers in Intellectual Property and Contracts.
