Bevan Brittan advises a range of NHS organisations, including NHS Resolution and NHS Property Services and advises the NHS on Private Public Partnership schemes. The firm continues to advise the major insurers and brokers on clinical and personal liability claims and the firm’s Independent Health & Social Care practice advises a breadth of clients including large health providers, digital start-ups, funders and suppliers, including Barchester Healthcare. The firm recently advised AMP Capital on the successful acquisition of the Care Management Group.
Housing: Bevan Brittan is a leading advisor within Social Housing. The firm has a new London-based housing finance team, and advises some of the largest Housing Associations in the country on the delivery of housing developments and housing management services such as Places for People, Sanctuary Housing and L&Q. The firm also advised on the successful merger of Catalyst Housing Group and Aldwyck Housing Group. Bevan Brittan plays a significant role in advising public and private sector housing developers to meet the growing housing shortage, such as advising Royal Borough of Greenwich to help deliver its aim to build more homes, and advising on the Icknield Port Loop redevelopment scheme in Birmingham. The firm also supported the Bristol Housing Festival, which showcased innovative new methods of delivering energy efficient housing schemes.
Central and Local Government and Agencies: Bevan Brittan is a leading advisor within Central and Local Government providing extensive commercial, governance, property and sensitive employment advice. The firm has advised on a number of urban regeneration schemes within the West Midlands and a number of London Boroughs and is appointed to the CCS Wider Public Sector framework, as well as continuing to advise authorities on all other major frameworks, including EMLawShare, Surrey Legal Services and the London Borough Legal Alliance. The firm advises other regulatory bodies, such as the Financial Services Compensation Scheme and has advised on a number of High Court litigation cases. Bevan Brittan also advised the Canal & River Trust in the sale of its wholly owned subsidiary, British Waterways Marinas Limited (BWML).
Commercial Services: The firm advises over 800 businesses, specifically in the provision of commercial, construction, property, litigation, employment legal advice and procurement challenges, with clients including Wates Construction and Engie.

CONTINUED GROWTH IN LEEDS AND YORKSHIRE Now entering its fourth year, Bevan Brittan’s Leeds office has continued to grow with over 40 staff members. The firm recently refurbished and expanded its office space as it prepares for future growth, including introducing new agile and flexible working facilities. The office provides a broad range of services across commercial, property, construction, housing management, clinical negligence and employment law.
