The firm continues to advise the major insurers and brokers on defending clinical and personal liability claims and the firm’s independent health and social care practice advises a breadth of clients including large health providers, digital start-ups, funders and suppliers, including Barchester Healthcare.
Housing:
Bevan Brittan is a leading advisor within social housing. The firm has recently grown its housing finance team, and the overall housing practice advises some of the largest housing associations in the country on the delivery of housing developments and housing management services including Places for People, Sanctuary Housing and L&Q. The firm has advised on several successful mergers such as Catalyst Housing Group and Aldwyck Housing Group, YMCA Birmingham and YMCA Coventry & Warwickshire to create YMCA Heart of England, Great Places Housing Group and Equity Housing Group. Bevan Brittan plays a significant role in advising public and private sector housing developers to meet the growing housing shortage, advising on the Lewisham Gateway, Icknield Port Loop in Birmingham and the Thamesmead redevelopment with Peabody Group.

Bevan Brittan is a leading advisor within central and local government providing extensive commercial, governance, property and sensitive employment advice. The firm has advised on a range of regeneration schemes throughout England, including the West Midlands and London Boroughs, and is appointed to the main frameworks: CCS Wider Public Sector framework, EMLawshare, WYLAW, NEPO and LBLA.
