The law firm Anwälte Burger und Partner (ABP) was founded by Managing Partner Dr. Hannes Burger in 2008. Founding the law firm was part of the natural evolvement of ABP, as it meant expanding the service range starting out from the basis, the – still existing – first ABP company ABP PATENT NETWORK as a software, search and renewals service provider, to a full-service IP boutique and law firm. Every aspect of ABP is specialized in and focused on the field of Intellectual Property.

It is worth emphasizing that this constellation of the ABP offices is unique in Austria. There is no other IP law firm in Austria that can demonstrate such structure. Furthermore, the Munich office enables ABP to more directly interact with the European Patent Office so as to handle the clients' issues personally and faster.
