Overview

Our Reputation

Our team in Serbia has a number of experienced specialists and is the go-to advisor for international banks and financial organisations. Our track record is clear, and we support our clients with experience, security and speed. We represent project sponsors, developers, commercial banks, underwriters, debt and equity investors, suppliers, export-credit agencies, governments, contractors and purchasers in various sector developments.

Our Cases

We advised 2 different multi-national bank syndicates in transactions that included EUR 70 million loan for the financing of development of a new shopping centre and EUR 60 million loans for the financing of development of a modern Class A Office building, both located in Belgrade. We also advised a multi-national bank syndicate in a benchmark transaction that included EUR 130 million loans for the planned refinancing of the existing Usce Shopping Center, and the development financing of the Usce Office Tower 2. The structure of the transaction was such that it included participation of two local banks and one foreign bank as lenders, which resulted in having facility agreements falling under two different legal regimes.

Our Role

We advise on all banking regulatory issues related to the establishment, licensing and operation of branches, subsidiaries and services on a local and cross-border basis. We have also advised on a number of bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings, as well as private equity acquisitions of NPL portfolios.
