We represent local and foreign clients in the registration, commercial exploitation and protection of trademarks, patents, copyrights, domain names, plant varieties, among other IP rights.

We handle one of the largest portfolios of trademark and patent prosecution and contentious in Chile and run our own updated database of trademarks. Our practice extends also to technology, privacy and media, life sciences and regulatory issues concerning food, health and agriculture.

Our patent practice has a special focus in the pharmaceutical industry and is also connected with life sciences matters and regulatory issues concerning proprietary information and undisclosed data dealing with health and agriculture.

In the regulatory area, we advise industry associations and clients regarding the changes in the local regulations concerning labelling of products “high in” and pharmaceuticals.  We are closely involved in the legislative discussions at Congress of new regulations concerning pharmaceutical products (i.e. labelling). We are litigating cases at Courts concerning labelling restrictions.
