Our Corporate & Commercial practice, which includes a strong mergers and acquisitions capability, advises on a broad range of corporate and transactional matters across domestic and cross-border deals. The team regularly acts on joint ventures, share and business acquisitions and disposals, privatisations and mergers, leveraged buyouts, schemes of reconstruction and amalgamation, capital restructurings and private equity investments.

The team also has strong capabilities in equity capital markets. Members of the team have been involved in numerous public offerings (IPOs) in Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong. The firm’s real estate investment trust (REIT) practice is among the most experienced in Malaysia, led by partners who acted as lead counsel on one of the earliest, and three of the largest, REIT IPOs in Malaysia.
