This is a unique department specialising in only the most serious cases on behalf of victims of catastrophic injury. We are renowned for our expertise in complex brain and spinal injury cases, as well as amputation injuries, serious orthopaedic injuries and criminal injuries.

Between February 2018 and 2019, our Personal Injury department alone recovered over £64 million in compensation for clients.  Hugh Potter obtained over £30 million in the case of ‘TTT’ which involved a young man who suffered a catastrophic brain injury following a road traffic accident. The settlement includes periodic payments of £325,000 per annum for the remainder of the client’s life.

Gary Herbert secured a substantial figure of £9.9 million earlier in 2019 for a teenage girl who suffered a head injury and severe orthopaedic injuries after she was struck by a vehicle on a zebra crossing.

Rachel Rees has particular expertise in the difficult matters involving Post-Concussional Syndrome following milder brain injuries, which is often defended vigorously. Together with Gary Herbert, Rachel secured £8.6 million for a client who suffered hypoxia following a road traffic collision which resulted in severe brain injury.

We are also specialists in acquired traumatic child brain injury, motorcycle accidents, serious accidents at work, public liability and CICA/MIB claims. We are lauded for the way we handle cases from beginning to the end in a compassionate manner; always putting the client first.
