Advising local and international clients in relation to multi-jurisdictional, cross-border as well as domestic transactions in the areas of M&A (including private equity), corporate (re)structuring and reorganisations, the setting up of operations in the DRC and the negotiation of joint-venture agreements. Other advisory areas include general corporate operations, corporate governance work and labour and employment law issues (including collective dismissals). We help clients to structure their investments in sub-Saharan Africa, especially in the mining, agriculture, energy, real estate, infrastructure, transport, telecom, and industrial sectors. We also assist them with banking and financial matters, especially asset financing, loans or convertible debt instruments, credit transactions, securities offerings, private placements, and secured transactions. Furthermore, we have a significant track record of assisting our clients in international arbitration relating to DRC matters.
