About

Provided by JMW Solicitors LLP

The JMW clinical negligence team was established more than 20 years ago and specialises in catastrophic injury claims, particularly brain and spinal injuries. However, we are able to handle the full spectrum of claims arising from poor care in hospitals, GP surgeries or other healthcare setting.

Led by leading clinical solicitor Eddie Jones, we have a strong reputation for delivering outstanding results alongside excellent client care. Our team comprises of six partners based out of our Manchester office, but serving clients nationwide, and one partner based in our London office. It also includes numerous associates and junior solicitors.

We have successfully settled thousands of cases, including obtaining settlements of £26 million and two of £25 million for children who suffered brain damage at birth. We have also recovered £9.3 million for a client who suffered negligent treatment of cauda equina syndrome, an injury we have particular expertise in.

We have strong links with charities and support services who can provide additional help to our clients. As a full service law firm we are able to provide advice from experts in other departments on areas such as the Court of Protection, wills, trusts and estate planning, employment and family law.

Careful guidance is provided on funding arrangements. We are able to offer no win, no fee agreements and we also have a Legal Aid contract and can offer this in the limited cases where this remains available.
