Provision of a senior secured debt facility of up to US$35 Million to a Petroleum Exploration and Production company for the construction of a 5,000 barrel per day (bpd) modular refinery in Imo State, Nigeria.

Acquisition of a minority stake in a Nigerian Fintech Company

We advised Nigeria’s largest fintech company (the “Company”) on the acquisition of a significant minority stake in the Company by a world leading multinational financial services company. This share transfer is the first transfer of equity in the Company to a major competitor. It was also the largest single investment in a Nigerian FinTech company.
