The team is a leading adviser on employment matters to NHS bodies in the North East and has a national presence due to its work for NHS England, a national strategic health authority, NHS Property Services and its guidance on industrial action across the NHS.

The team is also noted for its expert, successful and cost-effective employment tribunal service, dealing efficiently with the full range of cases, including the most complex and high-value litigation in the employment appeal tribunal, High Court and Court of Appeal. Alongside its public sector work, the firm has advised Everything Everywhere (EE) on employment tribunal cases. Furthermore, the firm's strong North East commercial, construction and real estate practices have provided increased instructions from private sector clients.
