Luciano Timm has been a corporate lawyer since 1994, with experience in Southern Brazil and São Paulo, acting as in-house counsel, in litigation, and in top law firms. With a strong national and international academic background, his practice focuses on strategy in complex cases and on the commercial and economic impacts of the operations he advises, incorporating insights from law and economics. He currently leads CMT’s dispute resolution department, which includes negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and litigation. He is actively involved in oral arguments, legal opinions, and strategic guidance for the national litigation team. His work stands out in sectors such as agribusiness, pulp and paper, machinery, food and beverage, civil liability, real estate, and construction.
Jacqueline Salmen Raffoul works in economic regulation, focusing on Consumer Law and government relations. She prepares legal opinions and studies in Portuguese and English and monitors legislative activity in Congress. She also acts in administrative proceedings before Procons and Senacon, drawing from over five years at DPDC/Senacon, especially in sanctions and recalls. She advises on recall procedures and defenses. Jacqueline is a Ph.D. candidate and holds a Master’s in Law from CEUB. In 2019, she received a scholarship from The Hague Academy of International Law. She has previous experience in law firms and as a UNDP legal advisor at CADE.
