Our clients include governments, national oil companies, international oil companies, marginal field owners, public and private companies, private equity and corporate investors, financial institutions and foreign law firms. The team advises the national oil company on its forward sale and prepayment transactions for the funding of its exploration and production activities and project development. Historically, we advised on the privatisation of the Nigerian power sector and establishment of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission.

Recently, the team advised the Federal Government of Nigeria on the sale of Afam Genco (which comprises of Afam Power Plc and Afam Three Fast Power Limited) to Transcorp Power Consortium for N105,000,000,000; and is presently advising contractors and financiers in connection with the conceptualization, structuring, development, construction and financing of the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano pipeline.
