New Treasury Counsel appointed
On 1 April 2024, new Treasury Counsel appointments came into effect, enlarging ‘The Room’ with the addition of three new Senior Treasury Counsel and five new Junior Treasury Counsel.

The new appointments are:
- Jonathan Polnay KC, Paul Jarvis and Louise Oakley to Senior Treasury Counsel
- Alistair Richardson, Philip McGhee, Nicholas Hearn, Fiona Robertson and Ben Holt to Junior Treasury Counsel.
Tom Little KC replaces Oliver Glasgow KC as First Senior Treasury Counsel.
These appointments mark an increase in the size of the Crown’s team of specialist prosecutors. There are now seven Senior Treasury counsel (up from five) and eleven Junior Treasury counsel (up from nine).
