Annabel Evans - Research Manager

Prior to being a Research Manager on the USA Guide, I was a Principal Research Analyst on the USA/UK team researching a variety of practice areas across these jurisdictions. I now oversee Advertising, Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation, Government Relations, Labor & Employment, Media & Entertainment and Political Law in the USA guide. As part of this role, I engage with firms and wider market commentators to always ensure our coverage of these areas remains accurate and relevant.

Previous to my time at Chambers, I studied across a range of institutions receiving a BA in History and International Relations from the University of Leicester, an MA in Middle Eastern Studies from SOAS and obtaining my Doctorate in Political Geography.

Outside of work, I try and spend as much time in the garden as British weather allows for.

If you have any questions about submitting to the USA guide, feel free to contact me at [email protected]

Eleanor Dobson - USA Research Manager

Following my time at Cardiff University studying History, I became a Research Analyst on the USA/UK team.

I was promoted to the position of Research Manager in 2021 and I have really enjoyed learning more about the USA legal market. During my time at Chambers I have gained in-depth knowledge of a range of practice areas, including Sports Law, Investment Funds and Food & Beverages, among others.

Outside of work, I enjoy illustrating and running (as far as my fitness allows). My other passions include hiking, watching the rugby and cooking.

If you have any questions for me then please don't hesitate to get in touch at [email protected]

Matthew Court - USA Research Manager

I joined Chambers as a researcher on the UK/USA team, before being promoted to Research Manager on the US team. I previously worked as a technical researcher for a town planning consultancy, and graduated from the University of Nottingham with a degree in American Literature, History and Politics.

Outside of work I'm a keen squash player.
