Kushraj Cheema - North America Research Director
Kush joined Chambers in 2015 as a researcher on the UK and US teams, focusing on litigation. After various roles at Chambers, he became the North America Research Director in 2021, overseeing the Chambers USA and Chambers Canada research. He is based in New York.

James Haggerty - Head of USA Research
James began his career at Chambers in 2015, starting as a Research Analyst on the UK/USA team, before joining the senior USA team in 2017. In August 2021 James took over as Head of USA Research where he helms our USA project, leading our efforts to research and rank the best law firms in America. James is responsible for running the entire Chambers USA research operation from our London office.
Working with a senior team of expert Research Managers and Principal Research Specialists, James oversees our world-class research team; drives the development of our research methodology; and ensures the quality of Chambers legal rankings.

Annabel Evans - Research Manager
Prior to being a Research Manager on the USA Guide, I was a Principal Research Analyst on the USA/UK team researching a variety of practice areas across these jurisdictions. I now oversee Advertising, Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation, Government Relations, Labor & Employment, Media & Entertainment and Political Law in the USA guide. As part of this role, I engage with firms and wider market commentators to always ensure our coverage of these areas remains accurate and relevant.
Previous to my time at Chambers, I studied across a range of institutions receiving a BA in History and International Relations from the University of Leicester, an MA in Middle Eastern Studies from SOAS and obtaining my Doctorate in Political Geography.
Outside of work, I try and spend as much time in the garden as British weather allows for.

Eleanor Dobson - USA Research Manager
Following my time at Cardiff University studying History, I became a Research Analyst on the USA/UK team.
I was promoted to the position of Research Manager in 2021 and I have really enjoyed learning more about the USA legal market. During my time at Chambers I have gained in-depth knowledge of a range of practice areas, including Sports Law, Investment Funds and Food & Beverages, among others.
Outside of work, I enjoy illustrating and running (as far as my fitness allows). My other passions include hiking, watching the rugby and cooking.

Matthew Court - USA Research Manager
I joined Chambers as a researcher on the UK/USA team, before being promoted to Research Manager on the US team. I previously worked as a technical researcher for a town planning consultancy, and graduated from the University of Nottingham with a degree in American Literature, History and Politics.

Evie Bispham Staite - USA Research Manager
My name is Evie Bispham Staite and I am a Research Manager on the USA team. Prior to joining Chambers I studied Biomedical Sciences at the University of Sussex. I started my career at Chambers as a Researcher on the UK/US team before being promoted to Senior Researcher and Research Associate. In my current role I mainly oversee the research for the Energy & Projects, Healthcare and Transportation sections of the guide. Alek Tomasevic - USA Research Manager
Originally from London, I spent most of my childhood growing up in the Netherlands before returning to the UK to study Literature at the University of Reading and the Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP Law School.
I previously worked as a Research Analyst on the UK/US team, and now oversee sections including Intellectual Property, Life Sciences, Securities and White-Collar Crime. Kypriana Savva - USA Principal Research Specialist
Following a law degree at Cardiff University and the LPC LLM at the University of Law, I joined Chambers as a Research Analyst on the UK/US team. I now oversee the Spotlight Guides and White-Collar Crime as a Principal Research Specialist.

Thomas Lambert - Principal Research Specialist
I oversee a variety of sections in my role as a Principal Research Specialist on the USA Team, including FSR, Government Contracts, Capital Markets, Real Estate, International Trade, and Securities Regulation.
My experiences at Chambers include time spent on the US Guide and Canada Guide where I was responsible for the research of large Energy and Litigation sections.
I originally joined Chambers as a Research Analyst after studying American Studies at UEA and obtaining an MA in United States Studies: History and Politics at UCL.

Shane Boothby - USA Principal Research Specialist
I’m a Principal Research Specialist on the USA team responsible for overseeing our civil dispute resolution coverage, including Commercial Litigation, International Arbitration, Product Liability and Securities. Prior to this role I directly researched major US litigation markets such as New York and Texas as well as handling UK solicitor and barrister research across Energy, Product Liability and Insurance sections.
Previously I studied Anthropology and Sociology at Goldsmiths and more recently a postgraduate degree in Law part-time at Birkbeck.

Mia Dowling - Research Manager
Following a master’s degree in economics at the University of Greenwich, I worked as a Research Analyst for a research company providing data-driven solutions to support lawyers in multi-party legal action.
Having then joined Chambers in September 2022, I am now a Research Manager on the US guide. In this role, I oversee our coverage of Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation, Immigration and Labor & Employment, as well as leading a team of researchers exclusively dedicated to our coverage of North America.

Ali Mirjani-Arjenan - Research Manager
I’m a Principal Research Specialist overseeing a number of areas on the US guide, including International Arbitration, Commercial Disputes, Securities Litigation and the False Claims Act. I also oversee International Arbitration and Public International Law sections across some of our other major guides, including the UK and Global guides.
I joined Chambers as a Research Analyst having studied Politics and International Relations at the University of Bath and International Law at the University of Edinburgh.
