Kushraj Cheema

Kush Cheema is Research Director, UK & US Elite at Chambers and Partners, where he leads research into the top end of the UK and US legal markets. He previously spent seven years in New York, building and leading Chambers' North American research.

Kush joined Chambers in London in 2015 and has since held research and editorial roles across the UK and the US. In 2019, he moved to New York to help open Chambers' office there, and from 2021 to 2026, he served as North America Research Director, overseeing Chambers USA and Chambers Canada. He now leads coverage of elite firms in both the UK and US, with a particular focus on strategic and private equity M&A. He holds a BA in English Literature from King's College London.
