Areas of Law
Each jurisdiction features one or more practice areas. Where there is only one practice area, it will usually be called ‘General Business Law’. The most complex jurisdictions may cover ten or more practice areas, with a focus on the areas which most commonly involve international and cross-border legal work.
Foreign Experts and Experts Based Abroad
Each jurisdiction may also feature lawyers and firms which have either qualifications or experience in advising clients on legal issues in foreign locations, outside the jurisdiction in which they are based.
