Viteri & Viteri is the successor of the firm Falla, Silva Pena & Viteri, which was founded in 1925.

Viteri & Viteri has a large client portfolio with important clients from almost every industry; as a result, the team regularly handles matters ranging from patents covering chemical compounds for the pharmaceutical and agrochemical industries, to design patents for clients in the automotive industry, sound marks and matters pertaining to the protection of trade dress. The firm also has an important local client portfolio and regularly advises on matters of patent, trademark and trade secret protection and has been tasked with managing the intellectual property portfolio for several important clients both in Guatemala and abroad.
