Ernesto R. Viteri Echeverría is the department head, has practiced in the field for over 60 years. He has worked on the drafting of the important legislation governing Intellectual Property in Guatemala. 

Mr. Ernesto J. Viteri Arriola holds an LL.M. from New York University and is very well regarded in Guatemala. 

Mrs. Pilar Ogarrio Block joined the IP team at Viteri & Viteri for over 20 years and is experienced in prosecuting trademark matters before the Guatemalan Trademark Office and the Guatemalan Ministry of Economy.

Mr. Ricardo Zúñiga Viteri holds an LL.M. from George Washington University with a focus on Patent Law and attended the summer program at the Max Planck Center for Intellectual Property Law in Munich, Germany.

The IP team at Viteri & Viteri has recently been retained by an important client to investigate, file and prosecute over twenty trademark and trade dress cases located in different jurisdictions within Guatemala.
