• Tax advice to ANDIMAC, the national association representing over 1000 distributors in the ceramics and construction materials sector
• Successfully represented several transport companies and transport associations in Supreme Court proceedings concerning the refund of excise taxes levied by the Spanish Government and subsequently deemed by the CJEU to breach EU regulations

Competition: 

• Representation in competition infringement claims.

Work Highlights: 

• Advising the Spanish Confederation of Goods Vehicles Manufacturers on the truck manufacturers cartel. CCS Abogados has designed TRUCK DATA INTELLIGENCE (TDI), a complex management tool which allows the document and procedural management of 6,700 claims, amounting to EUR750 million, on behalf of 4,550 clients
• Class action against the Italian corrugated carboard cartel: CCS Abogados has signed an agreement with litigation fund Antitrust Litigation Investment (A.L.I.), Italian law firm Scoccini & Associati and economics consultancy Fideres to claim damages, in Spain, arising from the cartel.
• Representation of claimants in the car manufacturers cartel.
