Dr. Zvi Gabbay is the head of the Capital Markets Department at Barnea Jaffa Lande.
Zvi Gabbay is a well-known figure in the world of fintech. His expertise covers various fintech-related matters, including financial regulation, anti-money laundering, disciplinary proceedings, DAO and smart contracts, and more.
Zvi advises world-leading fintech companies, with a focus on the use of blockchain technology, financial services, the proper implementation of regulation on technology, and robo-advising and technologies in the AI field that support investment decisions.
Prior to joining Barnea Jaffa Lande, Zvi served as the Head of Enforcement and as a member of management at the Israel Securities Authority. Before that, Zvi served as lawyer in the New York office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, and as a prosecutor in the Tel Aviv District Attorney’s office.
Zvi has contributed to the regulation of matters pertaining to investment services and portfolio management by technological means, and is the author of numerous publications on law and tech interfaces.
