Dr. Ziv Preis co-heads our Technology, Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions department and is a member of our executive committee.

Ziv has substantial experience in all aspects of domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, investments, corporate finance, private equity and joint-venture transactions as well as ongoing corporate, commercial and transactional activities.

Ziv has advised public and private companies, funds, institutional investors, entrepreneurs and high net worth individuals. Ziv counts among his clients, during his work experience in Israel and the United States, among others, Tnuva Group, Getter Group, Ministry of Defense, Azrieli Group, Bezeq International, Israel Shipyard Company, 888, Casa Cuervo, Tyco, Pitney Bowes, Altshuler Saham, Ayalon Insurance, Tel Aviv University and Ben Gurion University.

Ziv advised on a wide variety of industries, including, among others, food and beverage, financial institutions, telecommunication, transportation and logistics, industrial, defense and homeland security, real estate, gaming, consumer products, health and medical devices and technology.

Ziv teaches courses on Investment Funds, Mergers and Acquisitions and Business Law at Tel Aviv University and lecture on other corporate and commercial matters, including directors’ and officers’ liabilities, investments, high-tech and antitrust.

Ziv was the founding partner of Preis, Baharav & Co.; worked as a partner in the corporate/cross-border M&A department of Herzog; worked as senior associate in the M&A department at the NY’s office of White & Case, where his practice focused on cross-border mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions.

Ziv was a recipient of numerous prizes and scholarships, including, the “40 Most Promising Under the Age of 40” Award of "The Marker Magazine"; the John M. Olin Prize for best paper in law and economics at Harvard Law School in 2002; the Irving Oberman Memorial Award for best paper in technology law at Harvard Law School in 2002; the Academic Excellence Scholarships at Tel Aviv Law School and at Tel Aviv University School of Economics.
