Shabi Michaeli

Shabi is a partner in Lipa Meir and heads the Labor and Employment Department. He specializes in matters relating to both individual and collective labor law. He is highly experienced in representing corporate and public employers and their senior employees in disputes in labor courts, arbitration, mediation and administrative tribunals.

Shabi provides counseling to employers on all aspects of labor law, including: preparations of collective agreements and individual contracts and other commercial documents (such as prospects and commercial contracts), negotiations (including with labor organizations), mergers & acquisitions (including due diligence), strategic processes (such as reorganizations & RIF), and employers' arrangements stemming from new legislation or court decisions.

Shabi has special expertise in representing public authorities in general and municipal authorities in particular, thus having a very unique practice in public law. He advises clients in various aspects of non-compete and confidentiality obligations, including representing the employer or the senior employee in any dispute arising in these matters.

Shabi is a member of the International Society for Labor Law and Social Security (the Israeli branch).
