Young Kim handles numerous patent litigations in pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, polymers, optical products, glasses and electronic materials. She has handled many landmark patent cases, including Supreme Court cases involving issues of an indirect infringement, inventive step for a chemical invention, infringement under doctrine of equivalents, description requirements for a pharmaceutical invention, improper hindsight bias, and patentability of a selection invention. She also serves on the domain name panelist of WIPO. She has been a guest speaker at various conferences including IPO, AIPLA and AIPPI.
