Yolanda Martínez has 15 years of expertise in all areas of Competition Law, Public Law and Public Litigation. She heads the practice from the Barcelona office and she is especially well-known in the market for her expertise in the Pharma sector and regarding public sector competition-related issues (i.e. bid rigging, prohibitions to tender, bar associations’ rules and by-laws, etc.). She is also a specialist on EU internal market fundamental freedoms, an area in which she advices the group of cities led by the Municipality of Amsterdam, the Catalan Competition Authority or the Spanish Ministry of Tourism. Recently, she led the legal defence of LaLiga (Spanish Football League) during the oral hearing before the European Court of Justice corresponding to the Superleague case (C-333/21)
