Yang Wang is a Partner in the Beijing office of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. He represents private equity funds and corporate clients on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, corporate finance transactions and other general corporate matters. His recent transactions include advising Apax, Blackstone, Hillhouse, KKR, Macquarie, PAG, Primavera, Warburg Pincus and their respective portfolio companies in leveraged buy-outs and private equity investments of over US$35 billion in the aggregate, Alibaba Group, Ant Group and participants in their ecosystem in strategic investment and corporate finance transactions of over US$35 billion in the aggregate, various China state-owned enterprises in outbound investment transactions of over US$30 billion in the aggregate, and many other major investment and strategic transactions involving Greater China. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English.
