Will’s experience covers the full range of issues that arise in relation to UK-based pension schemes, including advising trustees, sponsoring employers, investors and lenders.
Will advises on the pensions tax regime, age discrimination, funding and investments, scheme mergers, liability management, employer debt, buy ins/buy outs, automatic enrolment, public sector pensions and governance.
Will has been consistently listed in Chambers and the Legal 500 for over a decade and has been described as having “outstanding pensions knowledge” with an ability to “explain technical issues to non-pensions people.” Clients go to him for his “high-quality support” and “clear and concise advice” as well as the fact that he is “personable and proactive” with “an ability to gain the trust of trustees and employers alike”.
