Wesley is the Global Co-Head of International Arbitration, he co-leads the Africa Group and heads the telecoms sector at Eversheds Sutherland.

He has acted as counsel and advocate for governments, state entities and private parties in dozens of arbitrations and in a number of high-profile cases under a range of arbitration rules including ICC, ICSID, UNCITRAL, LCIA, PCA and SIAC. Wesley has significant experience in public international matters and proceedings before international tribunals such as the Iran-US Claims Tribunal in The Hague.

Wesley’s practice spans a number of industries, notably the telecoms, energy, automotive, construction and financial sectors. His regional focus is on Africa and the Middle East.

Wesley has served as Editor of the first ever international publication on Telecoms Arbitrations, published by Global Arbitration Review and now in its third edition (The Guide to Telecoms Arbitrations - Global Arbitration Review).
