Veronika Pázmányová

In her practice, Veronika has specialised in negotiations of transaction documents and shareholders agreements assisting foreign investors expanding their business in Slovakia. In general, her practice areas include M&A, General Commercial Services, Corporate Law, Labour Law, Data Protection and Dispute Resolution. Veronika has impressive track record in settling several high-profile multimillion euro cases out of court.

Veronika joined Glatzova & Co. coming from White & Case, where she worked for over 5 years. Since joining Glatzova & Co. as Managing Associate/ Head of the Slovak Office in 2015, Veronika has acted as the lead lawyer in a wide range of M&A transactions, corporate matters, private equity acquisitions by foreign investors, and corporate work for our top clients, often involving multiple jurisdictions. Within first five years with Glatzova & Co. she has tripled the turnover of the Bratislava office thanks to her exceptional leadership and pro-client skills. Since January 2020, a week after giving birth to her son, Veronika was named the first Slovak partner of Glatzova & Co. and successfully continues to lead the Slovak branch.

Clients praise her for her negotiation skills and transactional advice. Her specialities include acquisition and sale of companies, advice on complex group structures, and transactional documentation including shareholders agreements. Given her expertise in the field, Veronika is regularly asked to contribute to and comment on various issues by some of the most respected media in Slovakia (Hospodárske noviny, SME, Trend) and has been speaking at numerous conferences throughout her legal practice, one of them organized just recently by C.H.Beck, being considered the biggest M&A conference in Slovakia.
