Vicky is a Partner with the Litigation/Arbitration Department of the firm, whilst she also serves as a guest lecturer in pharmaceutical law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
As an attorney at the Supreme Court, Vicky has acquired extensive experience in handling disputes before all grades of jurisdiction with focus on cases concerning defective pharmaceutical products and product liability in general, breach of law of obligations and torts, as well as distribution, commercial agency, franchise and antitrust disputes. She also provides consulting services in respect to the above matters and she has been involved in the negotiation and construction of various commercial agreements. Along with her participation in conferences as speaker and her contribution as reviewer for the legal journal European Health Law Review (EHLR), she has also acted as co-author for the legal book “Medicinal Product Liability: Adverse Drug Reactions and Insufficient Product information” published by P.N. Sakkoulas Law Publications. Based on knowledge acquired from day to day practice, the book gives comprehensive coverage on medicinal product liability and includes a detailed analysis, pertinent to life sciences’ matters, including clinical trials, marketing authorization proceedings (both centralized and national), post-market issues, adverse reactions and pharmacovigilance. Vicky has acted as a researcher for the Leiden University and she regularly publishes articles for academic journals in the context of her research activity. She is a member of the Athens Bar Association, the Hellenic Civil Law Association and IBA. Following the completion of her studies, she has attended training courses in Medical Deontology, Data Protection under GDPR and Basic Principles of Compliance. She is also a Certified Mediation Advocate.
