Vanja is a partner and co-head of the Natural Resources and Banking teams at John W Ffooks, where he specializes in project finance, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, banking law, and energy infrastructure projects. His expertise also includes advising clients on issues related to oil & gas and mining, listing and financing, and corporate transactions and reorganizations.

Vanja's practice focuses on advising local and international upstream oil and gas, mining, and energy companies with assets in Francophone Africa, as well as finance houses with extensive investments in the region. He has helped clients understand the different security packages available to them for protecting their investments and realizing returns in the most useful way possible and has also assisted them in navigating the regional Central Bank rules concerning the repatriation of foreign exchange.
