Partner Timothy Volpe has assisted clients in the insurance space for more than three decades and has often acted as outside general counsel for insurance companies and brokerages. His practice combines business law with the insurance industry, where he guides clients through the formation, reorganization, purchase and sale of insurance companies and agencies. He also assists insurance companies through state and federal regulatory issues, including certificates of authority, licensing concerns, and appearances before regulatory agencies.

Tim is also an experience litigator, assisting clients in business litigation issues and other insurance coverage and defense matters. He represents clients in multiple areas of coverage, including apportioning liability, breach of fiduciary duty, and negligence claims, among others. In addition to his litigation practice, Tim is also a skilled mediator and is often engaged to oversee matters in alternative dispute resolution.

Tim previously served as the Executive Chairman of the firm and was General Counsel for the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce from 2019 – 2021.
