An experienced trial lawyer, Tim has over twenty years experience as a business litigator and arbitration counsel, representing public and private companies, financial institutions, sovereign states, and directors and officers in significant commercial litigation, international arbitration, class actions and regulatory matters. He is recognised by leading legal directories. In 2021 he was Benchmark Litigation’s ‘Lawyer of the Year’ for New Zealand, in 2022 named to Legal 500’s ‘Arbitration Powerlist’ for Australasia, and in 2024 he was recognsied by Lexology/Who’s Who Legal as a 'Global Thought Leader - Client Choice' for arbitration.
